Welcome to my space. This blog is my road and my words are the runs. Ha! I live in Abbotsford, British Columbia in Canada with my husband Andrew and our six children in our blended family of eight: Jake (14), Freddy (12), Kylah (11), Katie (9), Ethan (8) and Callum (baby).
As you can imagine, life is full and chaotic, but a lot of fun. I run to quiet the static in my mind, to sweat out the stress and bring to surface some peace and perspective. Apparently it's contagious, as Andrew ran his first marathon in September, 2014 and has his sights set on an ultra-marathon in the new year.
This blog showcases our mileage, but it also gives you a peak into our real everyday life as a blended family. It can be messy and uncomfortable and even downright painful but so are some of the best runs. All that matters is that we cross the finish line together, and that the paramedics be waiting for us with some ice and Coronas.
